A zoo caretaker in Guatemala Zoo save a drowning antelope, however, the first responder was an elephant. Trompita, a 61-year-old elephant trumpeted a signal as she spotted the troubled antelope.

In this video taken by the zoo visitor, the elephant called out and swing her trunk agitatedly at the struggling antelope.

Her SOS alerted the zookeeper, Romeo Lopez who immediately ran toward the water and jumped in to save the frightened antelope.

The elephant finally calmed down when she saw that the antelope was finally safe.

López and Trompita, which means trumpet in Spanish, were both honored by the zoo for their heroic teamwork.
