Meet Colzouti, a TikTok user, and Sora. The nice fluffy dog makes his delighted parents happy every single day. However, Sora’s generous attitude and caring heart are not just meant for him.
Sora met Bruno, a homeless man, while on a stroll one day in the neighborhood of their Paris house. Colzouti’s heart was altered by that fortuitous encounter, which ultimately affected Bruno’s situation.
“Sora stopped short in front of a young man sitting in front of his tent,” Colzouti wrote. “Their eyes meet and Sora leaps forward to go see him. Reflexively, filled with preconceived ideas, I stopped Sora immediately. I acknowledge [the man] and decided to leave, but Sora refuses to move. He looks at Bruno. I call him back, but he refuses to budge. I decided to attach his leash and nudge him away, and that’s when Sora looks at me with eyes only a dog can give. Bruno gave a big smile.”
It was just the start.

The kindness shown by his dog to the unfortunate man touched Colzouti. It assisted in building an empathy bridge within his own heart.
In Colzouti’s words, “At that moment, I realized two things: That my dog and a stranger had everything to teach me about loving your neighbor. And that I will do what it takes to thank this stranger who taught me this valuable lesson.”
These meetings with them then turned into a daily ritual.

Colzouti gave him food and clothing in addition to the daily doses of affection from Sora and assistance in getting his life back on track.
Their efforts paid off.

Colzouti said, “Bruno changed his life. He no longer lives on the street. This story has greatly helped him get off the streets.”
It all started with Sora’s generous heart.
When they go for daily walks, Colzouti and Sora no longer see Bruno, but they still keep in touch. These days, they have playdates once a week.
The love of a dog has the power to alter lives. And it was at this moment.
“Their connection is touching, moving, and very sincere,” Colzouti said. “Sora has mad love for human beings. And he shows it as soon as we give him the opportunity.”
