A stolen dog is seen smiling broadly as police pulled down the vehicle she was riding in and took her home. The female dog was unexpectedly found by police during a routine traffic stop on Monday after being allegedly stolen from her home in Scotland over five months earlier.

The collie appears happy to be safe once more in photos released by Tayside Police, and she can be seen attempting to lick the face of one officer as she is being taken to the station. After a protracted separation, the pet has now been reunited with her happy owners, according to the force.

According to the Daily Record, the black and white dog was allegedly abducted from its owner’s Wick, Caithness, house in March.

Nearly five months later, or 230 miles away, police located her on the Stirling Road in Milnathort.

A 66-year-old man has now been accused of allegedly snatching the animal and committing other claimed traffic violations.

A representative for Police Scotland stated: “The dog was taken on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from a residence in Wick.

Around 5.15 p.m. on Monday, August 8, patrolling cops stopped a car on the Stirling Road in Milnathort, close to Kinross.

“Following enquiry, a 66-year-old man has been charged in connection with alleged theft of the dog and road traffic offences. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”

Another cherished dog that had been gone for seven heartbreaking years has finally been brought back to her owner.

After being saved from a breeder, 11-year-old Sprocker Spaniel Flash was reunited with 49-year-old Emma Drewett, who was devastated.

Emma, a gamekeeper, described the wait as a “living nightmare” because she didn’t know if her cherished cat was safe or even still alive.

Emma and her teenage son Luke were terrified they would never see their dog Flash again when he was taken in 2015.

Amazingly, though, Flash was located by a compassionate dog lover in Little Marlowe, Bucks, which is approximately 200 miles from Emma’s house.
