The sad reality is that every once in a while, pet owners have to give up their fur babies. They’re unable to take care of their pets due to financial strains or even health problems. We can’t even imagine how sad it must be to go through that. We’re tearing up just thinking about it.
Unfortunately, it happened to TikTok user @allstaralliee and her family and they had to find a new home for their dog during the Covid lockdown. It absolutely crushed her dad because the dog was his best friend. So they decided to surprise him for his birthday and the result will have you sobbing, in a great way though!

Aww! This is the sweetest, most thoughtful surprise we’ve ever seen. We just know this meant the world to both the dad and this dog. And it’s so kind of the dog’s new owner willing to go along with the surprise. That’s how you know they found the right home for their pup!

Say it louder for people in the back. More people who are unable to take care of their pets should put in the time to rehome them instead of surrendering them to a shelter.
Another TikTok user, @gonzalaur, wrote, “I’m sobbing because all I can imagine is the dog thinking, ‘Where have you been? Why did you leave?’” O.M.G. We just started crying all over again. We hope this dog knows they never ever wanted to give her up. They had to do that in order to give her the best life possible. And they’ll always love her, forever and ever!
