The Ringstaff family was traveling along a Southeastern Kentucky road when the odd sight of a lone Great Pyrenees dog sitting motionless by the road caught them off guard. The family initially drove off, but they had to return to the spot to put a rest on their nagging worries. As the family approached the dog, they finally realized the trauma he had been through.

The poor dog was actually standing by the rotting corpse of his furry friend, who had passed away after a hit-and-run. The Great Pyrenees dog had also sustained a few injuries, and he was in a completely disoriented state. When the family asked around about the 2 dogs, they discovered further disturbing things about their past.

Apparently, the dogs belonged to a local person who had moved away to a different town. The person abandoned the dogs and left them without any support. After the hit and run, many residents tried to convince the surviving dog to follow them, but the dog rejected them all and chose to loyally stand by the side of his dead friend.

In this video, we see the Ringstaff family going out of their way to rescue the massive dog from the woods. How they rehabilitate the grieving dog and earn his trust is tear-jerking. This giant furball has been named Tucker, and he has certainly transformed into this kind-hearted family’s cuddliest darling!
