While having a conversation with a window fitter, Rachel Green observed that her dog was opening the window to the upstairs bathroom.
What an incredible capture.
According to the Daily Mail, that would be Kent-based English dog mother Rachel Green. Recently, she was having a conversation with a window installer while standing on her front porch when she glances up and exclaims, “Oh my God!”
Florence, her border collie who is 6 years old, had forced open a bathroom window and was going to fall 20 feet to the earth. Florence did indeed trip and fall, but Green anticipated it and grabbed her, barely letting her pup’s feet touch the earth. The close call was caught on camera by Green’s doorbell. Although Green is undoubtedly the episode’s standout character, the window installer gets praise for exhibiting complete inaction. At the end of the 15-second video, he appears to be prepared to continue providing his service quote, so I’m sure he was startled. From just that tweet, the video has already received more than 5.8 million views.
The greatest news, of course, is that Florence survived the encounter with only a sore leg, according to Green, who spoke to the Daily Mail.
She’s always been a self-reliant dog, but I think that since the epidemic she’s gotten attached, and since I work from home, she always wants to be by my side, the woman told the newspaper. I just didn’t comprehend how much she was willing to risk.
She claims that despite the window being closed, Florence was able to break it open. She just became aware of it because the window was opening and created a gleam that drew Green’s attention. (Perhaps that’s what the window guy was there to look at.)
So that Green’s quick reactions aren’t put to the test once more, let’s hope the window installer installed a lock or something.
