Being an animal advocate is a fulfilling and exciting career. But it is also highly demanding and difficult. There are countless stray animals out there, and sometimes you can not save them all. Your job hours never end.
Strays are frequently unexpected and potentially deadly. You must be able to approach them and handle challenging circumstances. Mexican animal rescuer Jorge Jaime recently experienced a situation where all the knowledge he had acquired over the years was put to good use.
When Jorge came upon a new stray, he made the decision to assist her. But when he went to feed the dog, it bit him. Jorge showed the stray dog love and affection as opposed to reacting with rage and aggressiveness. The dog soon stopped displaying any symptoms of animosity and began to enthusiastically and graciously welcome Jorge.
Animals sometimes deserve much better than what they receive. It’s incredible to see that someone will still assist them even if they are on the streets and alone. Maybe we should all make an effort to aid the unfortunate abandoned animals that exist in the world. Even a small contribution from each of us will make a significant difference.
Please support shelters if you can. Donate cash, food, blankets, toys, etc. Almost anything you no longer use in your home might make a wonderful present for someone in need. You won’t regret it if you can donate your time to shelters and sign up to volunteer; the love and gratitude you will experience are unmatched.
Jorge wrote on Twitter: “She bit me I paid with love and today I feed her daily. They’re not bad, it’s just that sometimes on the street they have to fight for their lives. These days, when she sees me, she comes running to me and that’s worth more than a bite.”
Please give getting an animal significant thought if you’re considering it. They are living things that require your love, care, and attention. In addition, taking care of them is expensive. Consider adopting an animal from a shelter as well.
There are several creatures out there that are eager to show you their affection. You may give them a second opportunity at having a wonderful family and home.
