This adorable puppy with shaggy hair named Buddy went through a terrifying experience last week.

He was waiting outside a German grocery store while his owner went inside when an unknown person came and did the unimaginable – they kidnapped him. The person took Buddy to an unidentified location.

When the dog’s owner returned a little while later, she was heartbroken to discover that someone had taken her cherished pet. But one extremely tenacious officer eventually intervened to take on the case.

The Greifswald Police officer arrived quickly to record a report of the occurrence. He learned that the dog’s owner only understood Ukrainian there.

The officer discovered after using a computer to translate that she had recently escaped from war-torn Ukraine to Germany with her two children and Buddy. Buddy had made it through that adventure, but he was now facing a different kind of danger.

Because of his emotional reaction, the policeman resolved to go above and above to ensure that young Buddy returned home safely.

The Greifswald Police said, “[our officer] questioned numerous witnesses on the spot and looked for clues on the man who was seen taking the dog.” The search was futile initially, but it would soon reach a turning point.

The cop created posters of the missing Buddy on his own time and money to hang and distribute throughout the community. But the case wasn’t solved until one of the flyers was distributed at a nearby animal shelter.

Buddy was recognized as the abandoned dog they had taken up a few days earlier by a worker there. It was unexpected to learn that he had initially been taken.

The department reported that the staff of the animal shelter could hardly believe the story themselves and immediately handed Buddy over to the police.

Buddy had been found unharmed and will soon return to his rightful place thanks to the officer’s dedication.

Buddy’s frightened owner received the good news she had been expecting for five days after he went missing, and the two were reunited.

The police agency reported, “The Ukrainian woman was so happy that, even without words, it became
clear how grateful she was. A hug can sometimes express a thousand words.”
