Skyla Blu, a French bulldog, went missing three weeks ago, and André Kedroe, 33, spent three weeks searching the streets day and night for her. He is happy she is now safe at home with him.
The female tri-color Frenchie was found on Friday after going lost earlier in the month at a Pride event. André’s dog is his support animal, and he is considered a vulnerable person.
At the event in downtown London’s Soho, a lady who wishes to remain unnamed alleges André requested her to watch Skyla Blu while he used the restroom. She did not try to call the police or take the dog to the vet.
After seeing social media articles about the missing dog, she got in touch with André three weeks later to deliver Skyla Blu.
On the day his dog went missing, André, who believes his drink was adulterated, also had his hearing aids stolen. A ruthless thief took them in a bag and included his wallet, passport, and eyeglasses.
After 11 p.m., André has no memory of what happened, and when he awoke at home in Lewisham hours later, his beloved dog and bag were gone.
He claims to have “no recollection or idea what happened,” but he is happy to have found Skyla Blu again. He stated: “I try to be kind to everyone and can’t understand why this happened.
“Skyla Blu says ‘I’m exhausted but back with my dad where I belong. Thank you, everyone.”
Friends said that André put in a lot of effort with volunteers to get back with his pet. Despite being horrified by the experience, he valiantly pledged to keep searching until she was found.
