An animal shelter is no place for any dog, but especially not an innocent one-year-old Chihuahua who was dumped there without any reason why. Like many dogs that are suddenly abandoned, she was not adjusting to life in the lonely shelter. She cried herself to sleep every night, until thankfully she was adopted by an incredibly loving family.
This story is one with a happy ending, but there are still so many dogs who need love and caring.
The Carson Animal Shelter workers knew the dog felt hopeless and full of despair. Out of love they placed a little pink sweater on the dog, hoping it would bring her comfort.
Some dogs will howl and bark loudly at the shelter but this sweet soul would sob quietly so that she wouldn’t disturb the other dogs.
Amidst the noise, chaos, and fear, this little dog deserves a life of love. We have no idea why someone would give her up, but thankfully, she was adopted and gets her happily ever after!
