After 25 years of marriage, Jennifer Flavin and Sylvester Stallone are reportedly getting a divorce, according to rumors.
According to court records obtained by TMZ, Flavin allegedly filed a petition “for dissolution of marriage and other relief” in Florida on August 19.
Allegedly, Stallone transferred assets from his marital finances, according to Flavin. “Upon information and belief, the Husband has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate,” according to court filings.
The news has prompted some people to wonder whether Stallone’s dog played any part in the rumored breakup.

Why?
Just days before their separation, the actor covered a tattoo of his late dog Butkus with a picture of his wife.
People began to wonder about the couple’s relationship as a result of the cover-up, but a representative for Stallone told the Daily Mail that although he “intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife” the results were “unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable.”

In response to more online rumors, Stallone has now provided an update and stated in a statement to TMZ that the tattoo was not the cause of their breakup.
“We did not end the relationship on such a trivial argument,” he said, although he did admit that the couple disagreed over “how to care for the dog”
He said: “I have the highest respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met.”
In May, Stallone and Flavin celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. The actor shared a photo of the couple and said on Instagram, “Happy 25th anniversary to my amazing wife.”
He added: “There is not enough words to describe what this incredibly selfless, dedicated, patient woman has meant to our lives and I only wish they could be another 25! Thank you sweetheart! ”
