A Texas family suffered a terrible tragedy on New Year’s Eve when their home caught fire and was completely destroyed. They have, nonetheless, referred to the subsequent occurrences as a miracle.

In the middle of the confusion, one of the family’s cherished pets selflessly gave its life to save the girl. In her account of the occurrence, the homeowner, Jennifer Oleniczak, said, “We heard a loud banging on our door and on our wall, which alerted us to the presence of the fire.”

She yelled for her husband and kids to leave before grabbing her Shih Tzu and six puppies. Jaylee, her 15-year-old daughter, began yelling, “Ollie, Ollie woke me up! “, as her husband and neighbors assisted her in climbing up and into the street. ”

“She said yes, that’s how I heard the door. She said that Ollie came into the room. Where is Ollie? So, we couldn’t find him,” Oleniczak said.

The following day, the family went looking for Ollie, their Pitbull. They looked into the burned-out house, posted on social media, and even looked into nearby shelters, but nothing was found prior to January 9.

“My husband went in and found him right at my daughter’s bedside. At the foot of her bed like he had collapsed from the smoke inhalation. And I want to give him a big hug you know because had he not gone in there, Jaylee would have died,” said Oleniczak.
