Yesterday, a little Terrier was spotted clinging to a rock in the middle of the Bride River in Blackpool on the northside of the city.

The local lady rescued the little dog and posted pictures to northside community Facebook groups so that other people might share. In such a way that somebody may recognize the dog and let his owner know how to get him.

The lady states in her post: “PLEASE SHARE this little elderly dog was rescued from the river Bride in Blackpool Cork. Please, please share owner may not be on social media but perhaps a neighbor or relative might recognize. Please contact Munster lost and found pet helpline on 0862112850 if you recognize it. ”

“The little dog is crying for home. He was walked around the area after a vet check but didn’t go to any house,” she added.

If you know who owns the dog, you can also contact the Munster Pet Lost and Found Facebook page – they do great work in reuniting pets and people.
