Dog Gets A New Home And Freaks Out, When She Sees What’s In Her Backyard

Dogs are amazing! They appreciate things that we often take for granted. Sometimes they don’t just appreciate them, they totally freak out! You know what I’m talking about. They get all jumpy and screechy. And have those epic tail wags. Well, that is exactly what happened when this Westie saw her new home in Florida.

Christy and her dad have moved into a new home in a new state. And while it can be stressful, it can also be a huge adventure. Christy is uncertain. Will she like her new neighbors? Will the dogs at the dog park be nice to her? Ultimately, though, it comes down to one thing for her. Will she have that epic backyard she has been dreaming about?

Once Christy looks out the back doors, she loses it. But in a good way! Can you guess why she’s so excited? It’s paw-recious! Trust me, you don’t want to miss this video and you want to watch it all the way through (and then repeat it because it’s that good!) This is exactly why I LOVE DOGS SO MUCH! Don’t be cruel and keep this to yourself… share share share!

Puppy Escapes His Home And Instantly Regrets It, Rings Doorbell To Get Back In

Have you ever done something and then shortly afterward, realize it was a bad decision? I think we’ve all experienced that at least once in our lives, and apparently that feeling isn’t unique to just humans.

This three-month-old puppy, named Marshall, instantly regretted his decision to escape his Spokane, Washington home. He managed to get out, but instead of running away like most dogs would, he quickly changed his mind in hilarious fashion.

When he realized he made a huge mistake, he tried getting back into the house. First, he scratched on the door, and then he even rang the doorbell (which makes a knocking sound) a few times using his nose!

Luckily for us, the family’s surveillance camera caught the whole thing on tape. In the video below, you’ll see the adorable Golden Retriever pup struggle to get inside.

Thankfully, someone heard Marshall and let him back in the house. We can only hope that he learned his lesson and will think twice before escaping next time.

In the meantime, we can thank his owner Greg Basel, for uploading the video for all of us to see.

Cops Rescue 500 Puppies From A Puppy Mill And They Reunite 1-Year Later

Puppy mills are one of the worst things humans have ever come up with. They keep dogs in inhumane conditions, often forcing them to have litters 2 to 3 times a year. They devastate a dog’s mental and physical health.

In July 2014, dog trainer Victoria Stilwell took part in an operation to bust one such puppy mill that had been operating in Georgia since the 1980s. The Cherokee County Animal Shelter and Cherokee County Marshal’s Office raided the puppy mill that kept over 500 dogs in terrible conditions.

It’s heartbreaking to watch the animals living in unclean cages, some in their own filth. Watching the happiness on these dogs’ faces when they finally have some real human contact brought tears to our eyes. During the operation, the team ended up rescuing 526 dogs in total. Many of the female dogs were pregnant though. So when they gave birth later, that number went up even higher.

Then something amazing happened! When the word about this operation spread, hundreds of people lined up on adoption day to give the pups a forever home. Some people had even camped from the night before! Seeing the community come together like this restores our faith in humanity.

At the end of the event, all the dogs got adopted and will never have to suffer again! As for the people who were running the puppy mill – they pleaded guilty to 25 charges of animal cruelty and were sentenced to 25 consecutive years of probation.

A year after the adoption event, the pups and their parents met for a 1-year reunion. Seeing these cute dogs out of their horrible cages and in the hands of their caring parents puts a big smile on our faces!

Please remember to do your homework before getting a new dog. Say no to puppy mills.
