Teenager Cadence Beavers was filming a dance for a TikTok video outside when she unexpectedly ended up saving her sister’s dog’s life.

As she was dancing, she heard a splash in the pool behind her. She quickly turned around and saw the dog, named MJ, sinking to the bottom of the pool, unable to get above the water on her own to breathe.

Beavers immediately takes her shoes off and, without hesitation, jumps into the pool to save her. She grabs ahold of the dog, lifts her above the water and quickly walks her to safety.

“I didn’t know that all dogs couldn’t swim so I heard the splash and I turned around and then it clicked that [MJ] was just sinking to the bottom like a rock,” Beavers told In The Know. “I totally forgot I was even making a TikTok! It was just my instincts to take off my shoes and check for my phone and then jump in quickly.”

Beavers feared MJ would choke on water, but thankfully she was OK.

The entire rescue was caught on video, which Beavers ended up posting to TikTok. Thousands of TikTok users praised Beavers heroic efforts for saving MJ, while others criticized Beavers for stopping to take her shoes off.

Beavers posted a follow-up video addressing the criticism. “Just because I took off my shoes and checked if my phone was in my pocket doesn’t mean I value those things more than my animal.”

Security Cam Caught The Moment When Dog Brings A Water Hose Into The House

A lot of people wonder what their dogs do all day when they aren’t home. Some people have cameras set up in their home and later find out that the dogs don’t do much besides lay around and nap, waiting for their owners to get home.

One woman was in for a real surprise when she came inside to find her house covered in water. She had a feeling that her dog, Winston, may have had something to do with this, but she turned to her security camera footage to find out for certain.

In the footage, which was posted on Youtube, you can see Winston drag in the water hose from outside. This would have otherwise been harmless, but the hose was turned on, soaking everything it touched. Winston walked from room to room with the hose, while water spilled out all over the floor, turning his home into a waterpark.

Three minutes later, the mischievous Boxer drags the hose back outside, as if he didn’t want to leave any evidence behind.

While it would be a nightmare to come home to a soaked house (especially the living room rug), it’s kind of hard to be mad at this adorable pup! I have a feeling that Winston’s owner can laugh about the matter looking back at it, but she sure didn’t think it was funny when it happened!

Puppy Who Lost Her Fur Looks Unrecognizable Weeks After Escaping Negligent Owners

21-year-old vet assistant Jessie DeFreita, of West Sussex, England, already had four cats and a rescue dog of her own, but when she laid eyes on a tiny pup who came into her office, she knew she had to have her.

The puppy, initially named Honey, was left practically bald after all of her fur fell out, due to a nasty case of mange. She was brought into the vet’s office by her previous owners, who had neglected the sweet pup for far too long.

But it wasn’t her mange that stood out to DeFreita’s, it was her “beautiful eyes.” And despite everything that she had been through, her eyes still showed a glimmer of hope.

The veterinarian said if the puppy wasn’t brought in when she was, she may not have survived much longer. With that said, Honey needed ’round the clock care.

That’s when DeFreita stepped in to help. She volunteered to foster the pup and wound up bringing her home soon after.

Since the pup was a playful biter, DeFreita decided that her original name “Honey” wasn’t a great fit for her. So she changed her name to “Terra,” Terror with an A.

But three months later, the biting pup wound up living up to her initial name after all. Not only was she extremely sweet now, but she also looked unrecognizable.

Her transformation is so incredible that she doesn’t even look like the same dog. All of her fur has grown back, and she’s an adorable, happy little puppy.

Not only has DeFreita helped nurse Terra back to health, but she has also given her a permanent home!

This just goes to show that a little bit of TLC goes a long way.
