The Sacramento SPCA posted the cutest picture of one of its pets waiting for his permanent home on Facebook. Meet Willy Wonka, a Bulldog/Terrier and American Pit Bull hybrid who is 2 years old. Your heart will be torn apart by his narrative.

Willy suffered a dog assault that tragically required the amputation of both of his ears. Oh my, that baby. However, one of the vet technicians caring for him created something incredibly wonderful for Willy, and we are in love with it. Look it up here:

Oh my God, stop! This is such a lovely and considerate gift. And it’s clear how content Willy is sporting his new hat! The SPCA said that their favorite feature is that the hat’s ears still droop and move around naturally. SO ADORABLE!

One Facebook user, Linda Goolsby-Lucas, wrote, “Love such caring people. He looks like a sweetheart.” He looks like the goodest boy of all time! Linzy Kay added, “Welp, my 2023 is complete. Things cannot get better than this.” We’re so in love with Willy and his beautiful knitted hat!

“This is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time. Bravo!!” said user Emily Garman. Right?! This brightened up our entire day. Our entire week will be made once Willy gets adopted! If you’re interested in adopting Willy, or another animal, please visit the Sacramento SPCA website for more information. Let’s get him home!
