To save a dog on Tuesday night, emergency personnel in Tennessee rappelled down an overpass and into a ravine. East of Memphis, Bartlett is around 13 miles away.

A little dog was reported to have jumped over an overpass and fallen about 25 feet into rocks in a ravine, according to the Bartlett Police Department. The caller reported that the dog seemed injured.

Lt. Matt Hill of the Bartlett Fire Department reportedly rappelled down to the dog to save it, according to the police.

The dog surprised everyone by being unharmed and making it out of the gully with Hill.
