Willie was just an ordinary girl, living in a small village near the sea. But her life changed forever when she found an abandoned dog – a war-dog who had been left behind after a battle. From then on, Willie and the dog – whom she named ‘Willie’ – were inseparable.
The two of them quickly formed a bond that transcended their differences in size and species. They spent their days exploring the nearby countryside, playing games and chasing each other around the village. Willie even taught her loyal companion how to fetch sticks from the lake and carry buckets of water from the well!
But as word of their friendship spread far and wide, so did rumors about Willie’s War-Dog’s amazing skills. Before long, villagers started asking Willie to use her beloved pet to help protect their farms from raiding parties of wild boars and bandits.
So every night, while others slept soundly in their beds, Willie and Willie stood guard at the edge of town with nothing but courage between them and danger. Thanks to their bravery, no one was ever hurt during these dark nights – not even once!
Willie’s story is a reminder that even in times of fear & uncertainty, true friendship can be our greatest strength.
