Goody Wu, a Taiwanese woman from Taipei, has demonstrated that her dog’s security and happiness are her top priorities. The woman ignored her own concerns and rushed to comfort her beloved cat when there was an earthquake.

She gave her dog a hug and prepared to shield him from danger with her own body. Now that they are both healthy, they are enjoying each other’s company.

Goody Wu and Owen were relaxing in the living room on a peaceful day when they heard a crash.

The home began to shake as a magnitude 6.5 earthquake, which Owen was the first to detect. The dog felt uneasy about it.

At the time, all I could think about was holding him in my arms and comforting him.

Thankfully, after the shaking stopped, Owen and his owner were both okay.

Three years ago, Goody Wu discovered Owen as she was rescuing abandoned animals from the streets.

Owen required specialized care because his legs were damaged and he was unable to walk.

Despite a hospital telling him that he would have to be sacrificed because his feet couldn’t be saved, Goody Wu persisted in trying.

Thankfully, the woman discovered a capable medical professional at another facility who conducted surgery and assisted the dog in recovering.

The canine’s recovery took several months.

Now that the dog is safe and healthy.

Owen is a very smart and compassionate dog who excels at aiding and caring for other little creatures.

He was initially going to be placed for adoption, but I made the decision that it would be better for me to care for him for the rest of my life.

Owen now specialized in locating sick and injured animals in the forest.
