Andrea Athie was driving down a deserted road when she noticed an injured “homeless dog” begging for help. Andrea pulled over and rescued the skinny pup, but was heartbroken to see that the poor creature was nursing a broken leg. Andrea realized that the dog might have been run over, and immediately took him to the nearest vet clinic for help.
On the way to the vet, the grateful “dog” cuddled with his rescuer and showered her with kisses. However, when Andrea arrived at the clinic, she was shocked to find out that the pup wasn’t even a dog at all! Andrea learned from the vet that the timid and docile baby was actually a wild coyote!
The coyote wasn’t in good shape at all, and his health was declining from many internal injuries. The vet clinic contacted a wildlife rehabilitator to get the sick coyote the necessary help. Unfortunately, even after much effort, the coyote succumbed to his injuries and passed away after spending 5 days in the wildlife hospital.
Andrea is beyond devastated and is haunted by the memories of the sweet car-ride with the loving coyote. It truly breaks our hearts to know that our wildlife never get timely medical aid. Let’s be more kind and empathetic toward our wildlife and get them the professional help they need. Put the word out.

Hyper Excited Labrador Retriever Loses His Cool Every Time He Goes For A Walk
Most dogs love going for a walk, but Butterscotch isn’t “most dogs.” Her owner, Katie Gwaltney from Rising Sun, Maryland, so Butterscotch is unable to contain her excitement every morning when it’s time for her walk. Every single morning, the sun comes up and Butterscotch’s aunt and uncle come over to see her and take her for a walk. Butterscotch quickly learned the routine, which has evolved into a major celebration.
Dog mom Katie decided to film Butterscotch’s reaction and build-up of excitement until she finally releases her to see his aunt and uncle, who happen to be the dog’s favorite relatives. At first, Butterscotch stands on two legs and balances herself on the window when she hears her relatives coming. She whines, cries, and starts pacing as most dogs do when it’s time for a walk.
However, this darling doggo kicks things up a notch as her mom opens the back door. She takes off running with the grace of a gazelle and the speed of a racehorse as she sees her relatives driving to her residence in a golf cart. If you blink, you might miss Butterscotch who is super fast and can’t wait to get to her family members. She doesn’t even have time to walk down the back steps, as she soars over them and sprints to the golf cart.
