After being shared on the Twitter account @Yoda4ever, the video quickly became popular online. The caption for the video that was uploaded with it reads, “Dog teaches puppy how to play with a ball.”
The video starts off with the dog approaching the adorable puppy while carrying a tennis ball. The puppy then tries to hold on to the ball but is unsuccessful due to its small size after the dog dumps it near it on the sofa. Finally, the two get into a playfight.
The video has received more than 1.3 million views, more than 76,200 likes, and many comments since it was shared a day ago.
A person shared a photo and said, “My chihuahua did that.” Another person said, “He just wants the puppy to throw it to him, then gets worried the puppy doesn’t want to give it back. LOL.” Even though it’s been years, a third person said, “Rotties are the best. I still miss my boy Grimley so much.” A fourth person added, “My dog was already playing catch at six or seven weeks – it was the sweetest thing ever!”
