Many dog breeds were developed hundreds of years ago to do particular duties and jobs. Although this is far less common today and most breeds are content to be family pets, they nonetheless hold onto the instincts and characteristics that made them skilled workers. One couple made the choice to give their dog this fun opportunity to learn about his breed.
A video of an exclusive camp was recently released by the TikTok user @mochistails with her Australian Shepherd, Mochi. In the video, Mochi’s parents enroll him in a “herding camp” so that the young dog can practice herding sheep, as his breed was bred to do. We can’t stop watching this video. Mochi is a natural herder, as evidenced by the fact that he felt at ease in the sheep-filled pasture! Hopefully Mochi will be able to travel once more.
