We are incredibly grateful for social media’s ability to assist reunite rescued animals with their forever families. Who knows if those adorable, helpless animals would ever find homes without the films being shared of them? All we can do is hope that the shelters keep disseminating these videos.

Some rescue efforts go above and beyond what is posted on social media. In order to attract a wider audience, this Buffalo-based rescue, also known by the TikTok handle @sweetbuffalototherescue, chose to bring one of its pups onto a local TV station. Observe this TV star in action!

@sweetbuffalototherescue Thank you to @News 4 Buffalo for having Horatio on tonight and Dogs Eat Rite for helping him find a forever home! ❤️ @Nickel City Canine Rescue #fyp #foryoupage #rescuedog #superstar #adoptdontshop ♬ Love Story (Taylor’s Version) – Taylor Swift

Look at how adorable Horatio is! He’s a Shar Pei mix who is three years old. SO ADORABLE Who wouldn’t want this adorable person living with them at home? And we adore the notion of having him appear on a regional TV network. We hope that additional stations follow suit so that more viewers will be exposed to the wonderful creatures in need of homes.
