One woman’s response to learning that her dog lost her prosthetic leg is captured on camera in a TikTok video. D’oh! But don’t worry, @puddlesandfetch eventually located the leg. But it was hilarious to watch her look for it.
When the dog’s mom discovered that her dog Luna had lost a leg, she was not pleased. In the recent footage, she can be heard saying off-camera, “Where’s your leg?”

You’ll never believe where she ultimately located it. She states in the video, “I could picture her hopping without a prosthetic.” Of course, it was in some murky water. “Look where she got it stuck and left it. Her $2,000 prosthetic.”
People in the comments area couldn’t help but criticize Luna, despite the fact that the video had more than 3.5 million views. Poor sweetheart, I was thinking, “For sure she walked in some dirt and it got stuck.”
Everyone makes mistakes occasionally, she said. “Don’t judge my terrible decisions, I felt like leaping on a giant puddle,” @steff 1703 joked. @tallsaguy joked, “You should add an Apple AirTag or a Samsung Tag to it so it’s simpler to find.” At least she was able to escape on her own, @emily.nc81 noted.
We are grateful for that. But if the poor woman had never discovered the leg in the end, we have to wonder what could have occurred. And we will never, ever, hope to know!
