There’s no question that pets can sometimes get very jealous. Whether that’s because their owner starts dating or maybe their parents have a kid and they feel like they’re forgotten about. Whatever the case might be, there’s no doubt that pets can feel these types of emotions.

TikTok user @b3nn3tt.b was holding his 3-day-old baby on his lap right next to his first baby, the dog. The dog was still getting used to having the baby there, which would happen to any older sibling. Just wait until you see the dog’s reaction. It’s hilarious yet so pitiful!

Aww! The poor pup is so upset that his parent’s undivided attention isn’t on him anymore. We just want to tell him that they still love him so much and nothing or no one would ever replace him.

“I have a feeling that your dog was your 1st baby!” said @_nickie_82. Oh, 100% that was their first baby! Now, that first baby is going to have to learn to share the love. It might not look like he will, but we have a feeling they’ll be besties in no time.

A few TikTokers were commenting on their concerns that the dog doesn’t like the baby, but the creator reassured everyone and said, “The dog loves his new little brother, sleeps next to his bassinet and checks on him when he cries. He just wanted Dad to notice him lol, #adjusting.” Aww, see? The dog’s life was turned upside and it will take some time for him to realize he’s no longer the baby of the family. And that’s ok! “Why are people saying to watch him? He is clearly there! Dogs get jealous too! It’s something he is going to learn day by day people,” added @mariacastro4760. Exactly!
