Pit Bull Stuck in Snowstorm,  German Shepherd Races To Save Her

The bond between dogs is undeniable, and just like humans, those bonds are sometimes tested. It seems as though Knuckles the Pit Bull tested this theory when she got stuck in a pile of snow. The poor Pittie was trapped near a dumpster during a heavy snowstorm and she seemed to think there was no way out.

That’s when her pack member, Kanawha the German Shepherd, took charge of the situation as if she ‘knew’ her buddy was in danger.

What began as a walk in the snow for owner Brian Wagner and his dogs, led to a flurried rescue caught on video.

Knuckles managed to take the path less traveled and got herself stuck, fearing the heavy mound of snow ahead of her. Seeing his pal in distress, the German Shepherd lept into action, clearing a path for his Pittie pal, and back to safety on level ground.

Watch closely, as Kanawha seems to give Knuckles a bit of a ‘don’t ever do that again’ moment at the very end of the video. Dogs are oh so smart!
