Animals are seriously amazing. Not only can they hear and smell infinitely better than people can, but they’re also incredibly intuitive. They can pick up on subtle signals like behavior, and they can detect chemical changes in the body. Still, it always leaves us in awe when a dog like this Staffordshire Terrier steps up after noticing something wrong.

Certified Good Boy @georgethestaffy21 is often nearby when his mom’s massage clients come over for an appointment, but one visit went a bit differently. He knew his favorite patient needed some extra love!

Isn’t that the sweetest thing? George knew exactly what she needed to make it through her appointment, and he was there to help. Maybe his mom should make him a more permanent part of her work!

“Snuggles are proven to have healing properties. Especially coming from a dog,” wrote commenter @lindseycagley. You’re completely right! George even went the extra mile to help remind her to breathe. This precious guy couldn’t get any sweeter if he tried!

“He was trying to remind her to breathe,” agreed @tessharry1. “My pup used to sigh a lot. I realized I was holding my breath. She sighed then I would breathe.” That’s incredible! Animals have so many ways of helping us that we don’t even realize.

@Joannagould0 said, “Animals just know when we aren’t ourselves. They reach up to guide us and love us in every way. I’m sure she loved that and needed it today.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves! Animals know just how to use their intuition to help the people they love, and it’s such a blessing to witness. George’s mama agreed, writing, “It always amazes me what they pick up on.” Dogs are the best!
