Spending time waiting for a forever home is boring at best, but lots of dogs like Juky find it unbearable. To be fair, a shelter environment is far from relaxing! Kennels are small, neighbors can be noisy, and the fear of the unknown can be overpowering.
We completely understand why Juky the rescue pup is starting to become extremely ‘kennel stressed’ after only a few weeks at KC Pet Project. Videos from shelter photographer @katie.and.the.snoots show just how sweet she is, though–so we know she’ll find her forever home soon!

Would you believe that this is the same dog who’s panting, pacing, and circling in her kennel? She seems like the silliest, sweetest dog, and it breaks our hearts to think of her being so sad.
“Little one is telling you [her] whole day,” wrote commenter @dust6216. She totally is! We’re so glad that Katie was able to indulge Juky in a conversation, especially now that we know she’s struggling in the shelter. This video might have been taken a few weeks ago, but it shows her true personality!

Aww, poor girl! We’re hoping with all of our hearts that someone sees these videos and comes to Juky’s rescue. She deserves all the love in the world!
“We are rooting for you sweet girl!” wrote commenter @mostlymuttsga. You can say that again! Not only does this pup have tons of new fans, but she also has a few folks contemplating a road trip.
@Nursecrazyeyes asked, “What are the adoption fees? I need an idea before I drive from Colorado.” OMG, we’d love to see this match happen! We can only hope that Katie’s next video about Jukie is the news we’ve all been waiting for.
