The internet is chuckling over a dog who won’t eat her food unless it has been served “human style.”
Bailey the Chihuahua can be seen snubbing her supper in a video uploaded to TikTok on October 26 by user @itsbaileybear. That is, until her owner tries to microwave it.
The video, with the caption “When she won’t eat dinner until it’s ‘prepared’ hooman style,” has more than 158,000 views and 15,000 likes from TikTokers who admire the picky dog and her unique preferences.
In the video, Bailey turns down her bowl of dog food before turning to gaze about the room as she would anticipate. When the food is supposed to be done, her owner gets the bowl, walks over to the microwave, and pretends to turn it on.
Then, while acting as though he was adding mustard and shaking an unopened bottle of hot sauce above the bowl, he goes and adds “random secret items” to the dish from the refrigerator.
Bailey tucks into her kibble after becoming completely convinced of her owner’s “chef abilities.”
The entire gesture was deemed funny by TikTok users, with user Michelle Zimmerma596 describing it as “the sweetest thing ever.”
