Despite the fact that body shame and societal expectations are not permitted in the lives of dogs, there are circumstances in which a diet would be advantageous and healthy for a dog. When a dog is severely fat, like Morris was when he arrived at Happy Tails Animal Rescue in Australia, it is one of those occasions. Due to his weight, the senior Black Labrador was supposed to be put to sleep, but this amazing rescue squad understood that things might be changed.
Morris and his rescuers gathered with 7News Queensland to discuss their experiences after a year of nutritious meals, motivating exercise, and lots of affection. After watching this, we’re so amazed and motivated that we’re ready to go to the gym.

Morris, you go! It can’t be simple to lose 25 kilos, or little over 55 pounds, but he and the Happy Tails staff more than succeeded in doing so. We are unable to fathom how happy they must be!
It should go without saying that the viewers of this video are as thrilled with Morris’ transformation as we are. Sincerely, it’s difficult not to be motivated by this tale! But at the same time, it’s heartbreaking to watch an animal in such poor condition, especially when they have no say in what they consume.

@Charliegirl053 also made a thought-provoking point when she said, “His previous owners DID NOT love him!!” Although we don’t know the whole story, it’s hard to feel upset that Morris’s weight even got so high in the first place. What matters now, though, is his healthy recovery!
