It is common for rescue animals to exhibit cautious behavior when they go to their foster homes or even their forever homes. They need time to warm up because they have experienced so much trauma. But they’ll find their voice before you realize it.

A Beagle named Ash was saved from a dreadful situation. He currently resides with a foster family and several foster dogs. We believe that his finding his voice may have been aided by being around these other Beagles. Check out this adorable video of Ash that @tribeagles shared on TikTok.

@tribeagles Foster Ash was rescued from horrific conditions and is leaning how to trust (and arooo). If you would like to adopt a dog from TBR- tribeagles.org #rescuedog #beagle #houndhouse #aroo #beagletok ♬ original sound – Tribeagles

Aww! All of us could hear Ash’s “arooos.” day. We are happy that he is finding his voice and growing more at ease daily. Soon, Ash, you’ll be able to AROOO in your own house!

@_rooster76_ exclaimed, “Beagle howls are the best sound in the world!” They are! The howls, particularly Ash’s, would never get sick to hear. “Such a wonderful choir,” @al001936 added. LOL! In this foster home, we bet the choir never stops singing.

I love Ash discovering his voice, as @alexishoffman348 said, “I love the head back, ears flapping, and the howl.” And especially when he is with his forever family, we can’t wait to hear how much stronger his voice becomes. Visit the Triangle Beagle Rescue of North Carolina website if you’re interested in adopting Ash or another Beagle. Get those dogs home, please!
