TikTok user and dog mom @mariehaynaeviathehusky02 experienced every pet owner’s worst nightmare when her Siberian Husky, Naevia, was attacked by two other dogs. Fortunately, Naevia survived the attack and was given the best medical care available–and now she’s going on her very first walk post-attack.

OMG, both Naevia and her mom did so great! We’re so glad they documented such a joyous milestone, especially after so much worry over the last few weeks. It’s all up from here!
“Bet you were more nervous than her,” wrote viewer @huskymoo. “Typical husky–bounces right back. You have done her proud, never underestimate that.” What a sweet–and true–thing to say! Even though the pup went through a traumatic, life-changing experience, we can’t forget the worry, grief, and sacrifice of Naevia’s mom.
As for the pup herself, though–she’s just excited to be back out in the world. @Jomun79 added, “This is fantastic! I’m surprised that she’s not nervous! She’s fierce.” We couldn’t agree more if we tried!
Honestly, though–they’re both doing amazing! We’re sure there are difficult moments, but there’s also so much to celebrate. @Brittany.atkinson said, “I’ve never been happier for a dog I didn’t know personally. Go sweet girl go you got this!” We know exactly how you feel! We were moved to tears by Naevia’s strength–even before we had the whole story. This pup could be an inspiration to dogs (and even people) everywhere!
