The cats’ owners recently released a cute video demonstrating how far Goose and Moose have come since becoming friends. In the now-viral video, which has been uploaded to TikTok, Moose was seen meeting her new kitten brother for the first time and appears very grumpy while doing so.
Moose even hisses once in a while. Not exactly a warm welcome.
But everything soon changed.

Their friendship might not have developed if Moose’s parents had seen their cat’s initial response as an indication that they had made a mistake when they adopted Goose. Fortunately, they were aware of the need for caution and followed professional recommendations when introducing an older cat to a new kitten.
And everything paid off.
The owner of Moose and Goose wrote, “We honestly couldn’t believe how quickly she took to him! Within a day, she was grooming him and watching him sleep.”
